Nanny

We are a busy, warm family with three children aged 5, 9, and 11, looking for a reliable and kind person to support our household with a mix of housekeeping and childcare. With one parent who travels regularly for work, we are seeking someone who enjoys helping families stay organized and who can step in to provide childcare support when needed.

Housekeeping support will be the most consistent part of this role. Responsibilities include weekly laundry, vacuuming, light cleaning, tidying and organizing common areas, and generally helping the household run smoothly. Housekeeping hours can be scheduled on a regular basis and are flexible. We are happy to work together to find a routine that fits both schedules.

Childcare needs will be more occasional and tied to a parent’s work travel schedule. We anticipate approximately 15 to 25 hours of childcare per month, in addition to housekeeping hours. All childcare needs will be communicated at least one month in advance to ensure predictability and planning. When scheduled, childcare hours may include mornings before school (approximately 7:30am–9:00am) and after-school or early evening care beginning around 3:30pm, depending on children’s activities.

Childcare responsibilities may include school pick-ups/drop-offs, supporting routines, light meal preparation, and helping with homework or activities.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, and comfortable working independently, while also being warm, calm, and engaged with children. A valid driver’s license and access to a car are required.

Compensation: $22 per hour. We are open to discussing a guaranteed minimum monthly retainer to provide stability and predictability for the right candidate.
