- Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality educational experiences for children in the school or preschool setting.
- Work with individual students or groups of students on daily programs, special instructions, and projects under the direction of the teacher.
- Provides feedback and information to the teacher about students that will assist with the development of appropriate learning experiences.
- Assists in preparing lessons, materials, and instructional information including but not limited to art supplies, worksheets, educational games, and lesson plan support.
- Helps to maintain an organized classroom environment by managing student behavior, implementing classroom rules, and supporting transitions between activities.
- A high school diploma is required.
- Must hold a valid and active Teaching Assistant Certification
- At least 1 year of experience in child care, child development, or education is required.
- Bilingual (English/ Spanish) is preferred, but not required.
Posted Salary Range USD $19.50 - USD $19.50 /Hr.
