Job Overview

Right at Home, an award‑winning and exceptionally busy in‑home care assistance agency is looking for HHA's and PCA's to join our fantastic team. We are hiring HHA's and PCA's to fill hourly shifts across Nassau & Suffolk Counties. The ideal candidate is caring, compassionate and sincerely interested in improving the life of those we serve. A driver’s license is preferred but not required.

Caring for an ill or disabled person. Responsibilities may include light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping and running errands, companionship, and assistance with personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming. Work is primarily in the client’s residence. Travel is required. Shift times, days, and activities vary with client needs.

• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick;
• Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job;
• Valid driver’s license is a plus but not required;
• Successfully complete a written competency evaluation and background screening;
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job;
• Reliable, caring, compassionate, and mature caregivers who are sincerely interested in improving the life of others we serve;
• Pass a drug screen and a nationwide background check.

$16.50 per hour.

Full‑time, Part‑time, Live‑in.
