OverviewThe Sales Support Associate role is an integral part of the store’s overall success and efficiency; demanding direct attention to our brand commitment when servicing our customers. Leaving a lasting impression on our customers through friendly, efficient interactions at our cash wrap and a well-maintained sales floor. Accurate and effective work, supporting the flow of product from the moment of receipt through the point of sale is essential to this role.
Keyresponsibilities
- Cash wrap: greet customers with a smile and eye contact, offer your name, interact genuinely and naturally with customers, read cues to determine needs, conduct email/name capture where permitted by law, maintain accuracy when operating POS, maintain cash wrap organization and cleanliness, suggest add-ons and sell gift cards, ensure cash and POS media are accurate and in Coach policy, create a lasting impression by thanking customers and offering a reason to return, represent the Coach brand appropriately.
- Stockroom / Warehouse: receive shipments and transfers, notify Store Management when new product arrives, scan cartons/transfers and verify store information, communicate discrepancies, process shipments/transfers per Coach standards and time frames, organize and clean stock room daily (including offsite/remote warehouses as applicable), manage product placement and stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts and participate in store physical inventory counts, maintain Company Loss Prevention standards.
- Sales Floor: analyze replenishment needs, replenish the sales floor/assigned zone, respond to sell-through and execute visual merchandising needs, support sales floor activities, communicate product information to customers, respond to customer requests and collaborate with the sales team or Store Management as needed, uphold housekeeping standards.

- Experience:
1-3 years of previous retail experience (cashier/stock/sales), preferably in a luxury retail service environment. Knowledge of fashion trends and marketplace competition. - Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. - Technical:
Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (including iPad/laptop, Mobile POS and Internet), use of walkie talkies, read price and product release sheets. - Physical:
Ability to work at a fast pace; communicate effectively with customers and team; navigate the sales floor, stock room, and shelves; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for shipments/transfers. - Schedule:
Ability to meet Coach Scheduling & Availability Expectations, including flexible scheduling with nights, weekends, and holidays during high retail traffic periods.
