This part‑time role is responsible for opening and closing the store, managing the cash register, and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include:
- Open and close the store as scheduled, preparing cash bank at opening and making nightly cash deposits at closing.
- Receive and place new shipments, reset features and promotions, and complete regular housekeeping tasks.
- Operate the point of sale system accurately and provide comprehensive service using in‑store promotion tools.
- Greet every customer on entry, execute Five Steps to a Sale, and offer current promotions and special offers.
- Maintain a store environment that meets visual merchandising standards, engages consumers, and stimulates purchases.
- One year of retail experience (or related field).
- Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and solution‑oriented leader.
- High integrity, accountability, reliability, and openness to feedback.
- Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.
- Basic computer skills, POS system, and Microsoft Office.
- Able to perform basic math functions.
- Flexible and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Attention to detail.

Physical demand:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. The job requires ability to stand, walk, reach with hands, and maintain concentration for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.
Work environment:
Retail store environment with moderate noise level. The role requires frequent hands‑on tasks and verbal communication with customers.
