Sorts, displays, removes, and replenishes fresh fruits and vegetables in the produce department. Maintains the overall environment of the department by providing assistance to Members through product knowledge and customer service. Ensures that all produce meets or exceeds company quality standards.

• Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily.
• Deliver GOLD - Grand opening look daily; stock all items and execute promotional plans.
• Maintain visible, accurate signage; keep areas clean and organized inside and out.

• Understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for your department.
• See the connection between consistent execution and the positive impact on the business.

• Provide assistance to Members in the produce department; answer questions, recommend products and safe handling tips, and assist Members with finding products throughout the club.
• Inspect, rotate, and store produce upon delivery; ensure all received produce meets company standards.
• Rotate produce on the sales floor to maintain freshness and variety; keep displays neat and stocked; remove unsuitable products.
• Maintain the produce reserve stock area; date and rotate back stock items; keep storage area organized.
• Follow guidelines for disposing of damaged, spoiled, and expired products.
• Assist Fresh Manager with inventory and order processing as needed.
• Clean and sanitize all produce equipment, fixtures, and areas including the cooler and refrigerated displays.
• Generate signage for produce and perform price check functions to ensure items are accurately priced and signed.
• Maintain all club policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned, including work in other departments as needed.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

• Produce department work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of fruit and vegetables, including seasonal items, preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

• Most of the time is spent moving about on hard surfaces, bending, climbing, reaching, and handling merchandise.
• Frequently lifts up to 30 pounds; may require assistance lifting heavier objects.
• Indoor environment with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. The pay range is $18.25 - $21.90, and actual salaries vary based on location, education, experience, and qualifications.
