Job Description
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for a variety of daily functions related to receiving for
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Responsible for delivering accurately shipment within tri-state area.
- Responsible for verifying load accuracy
- Operate forklift to transport inventory within facility
- When needed will work in the warehouse.
- Follow safety procedures and maintains safe work environment
- Take photographs of pallets they are picking up before loading the truck.
- See a lead before their end of shift to discuss truck route for the next workday.
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/ or ability required.
- Clean and valid Driver’s License
- Forklift training and certification
- Willing and able to be on your feet and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Physically capable of bending, squatting, and reaching.
- Ability to carry 30+ lbs.
- The ability to work under varying (and sometimes extreme) temperature changes
- Must be willing and able to work overtime during the company’s busiest periods (i.e., November and December)
