Burrow Global is seeking an experienced Project Site Superintendent to oversee the construction of Pump Station project in Dallas, TX.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience working on federal government construction projects.

Candidates must have at least 5 years as a superintendent on industrial projects similar in size and complexity.

This project will begin immediately and last until Jan 2027. Local candidates only. No per diem is available on this position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise subcontractors, and laborers to ensure project timelines and safety standards are met.
  • Always maintain a physical presence at the job site and oversee all construction and related activities; and direct all self-perform trades, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Responsible for scheduling subcontractors, delivery of material, and procurement of tools to jobsite. This task is completed in conjunction with project schedule to ensure job is completed on-time.
  • Interpret and manage the critical path schedule, coordinating with all subcontractors to minimize delays.
  • Assist the Quality Control Manager (QCM) on preparatory meetings with subcontractors and client before starting any definable feature of work on a job site.
  • Address on-site issues and challenges promptly, facilitating communication between subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
  • Review plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met for each construction process.
  • Assist in ensuring all safety measures are enforced on jobsite. Will also act as safety officer on project when required.
  • Maintain and update as-built drawings for the project as required by contract.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • 10 years of relevant work experience on federal projects (USACE/ Airforce/ NAVFAC/GSA)
  • Must be able to read and interpret complex drawings/plans/specifications; to include site/civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
  • Ability to prioritize, assign, and oversee work of multiple crews.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written/verbal) skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft (word, Exel, etc) and experience with RMS
  • OSHA certified training and Construction Quality Management for Contractors certification Preferred.
