- In this role, you will coordinate construction activities across projects to stay aligned with safety goals, budget, schedule, drawings, and specifications while partnering closely with the Project Manager.
- Support project planning by helping define scope, develop cost estimates, build schedules, review designs, manage bids, and coordinate subcontractors.
- Review contractor plans, recommend proven construction methods, and ensure all work approaches and documentation meet project requirements.
- You will manage daily field execution by coordinating subcontractors, tracking progress, removing roadblocks, and keeping work on schedule.
- Enforce safety and quality standards by addressing risks, correcting unsafe conditions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and expectations.
- Monitor project performance by managing scope changes, validating contractor work, reviewing financials, and reporting issues.
- Support quality assurance by helping resolve issues and ensuring proper documentation and closeout processes.
- Capture lessons learned and feedback after project completion to improve future execution.
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred, more than ten (10+) years of industrial construction experience, including five (5+) years as a Superintendent and at least four (4) years leading projects.
- Relevant certifications such as NACE, API, CWI, or PMP are preferred.
- You have strong knowledge of construction disciplines with the ability to read, interpret, and verify drawings and as-built documents.
- Proven leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills when working with internal teams and external partners.
- You have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and project scheduling software, including MS Project and/or Primavera P6.
- Willing and able to travel 25‑50% is required in this role.
