Overview
Our client is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to lead and implement process safety programs across terminal sites in Texas and Louisiana. This is a key role ensuring regulatory compliance, process risk mitigation, and a zero-incident culture.
Title: Process Safety Engineer
Type: Long term contract
Location: Deer Park, TX
Industry: Terminal & Storage
W2 Employment only, No C2C, No Sponsorship
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the subject matter expert for PSM, RMP, and QRA.
- Lead HAZOPs, LOPAs, and Human Reliability Analyses.
- Support audits, investigations, training, and SOP development.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and API standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Process Safety (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience in process safety or operations within the chemical industry
- Strong knowledge of OSHA , EPA RMP, and API 754
- Excellent communication, leadership, and risk management skills
This position requires regular field engagement and travel between terminals.
