Serve as a working manager over a small group consisting of one chemical engineer and a designer to improve the technical operations of a chemical plant. Your group will focus on process optimization and long-term process improvement projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking. Reports to the Site Manager. Strong benefits with a 9/80 schedule, profit share, and enhanced 401k.
- Manage capital projects to improve the process and product transport operations
- Troubleshooting and optimize and continuous chemical process
- Provide technical support to operations and maintenance.
- Drive continuous improvements in plant performance
- Promote a strong EHS/PSM culture
- Establish process improvement strategies and plans
- Manage root cause analysis studies
- Train and develop staff and site personnel
BS CHE and 8 or more years of experience in a continuous process chemical plant or refinery. This role requires previous leadership experience.
