What You'll Do

As an Improvement Engineer, you will identify and implement process and technology improvement opportunities within your assigned technology area. You will lead evaluation teams to assess potential improvements and determine feasibility for implementation. You will collaborate with technology experts from the Center of Excellence to gather data and define the scope of improvement projects and activities.

What We're Looking For:

* Lead continuous improvement activities and define project scopes.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

* Analyze production loss data and prioritize improvement opportunities.

* Champion process safety in project design.

* Integrate operability and reliability inputs into project definitions.

* Ensure technical integrity and operability of supported units.

* Facilitate communication between project teams and operations.

* Support Front-End Loading (FEL) project phases.

* Lead new product trials at the plant.

Skills That Make a Difference

* Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical or chemical preferred).

* 0-3 years of experience in a chemical plant engineering role.

* Proven ability to leverage technology and optimize processes.

* Strong project management and prioritization skills.

* Excellent written and interpersonal communication.

* Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and concepts.

* Effective collaboration across departments and levels.

* Strong planning, organization, and presentation skills.

* Influential and self-driven mindset.

* Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Considered a Plus)
