Summary/ObjectiveThe Day Dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching industrial cleaning crews effectively and efficiently, for exceptional customer service inside petrochemical plants and refineries. The Day Dispatcher duties include using telephone or computer to communicate assignments, while coordinating daily operations, compiling daily schedules, and ensuring jobs are covered effectively.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule hydro blasting and vacuum crews daily.
- Assign and review training requirements for entry into customer facilities.
- Maintain orderly job board for daily tracking purposes.
- Communicate daily operational information to all field employees.
- Complete the appropriate documentation and reports in thorough and timely manner.
- Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems, maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Dispatching: 2 years (Preferred).
- Ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines, and changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Display the ability to accurately use basic math skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Geographical knowledge of service areas and/or map reading skills.
- Computer skills.
- Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required.
- Requires repetitive motion, hearing, talking, grasping, fingering, sitting, bend, stoop, and reach.
- Must be able to lift, carry and/or hold up to 75 lbs.
