Clean Harbors is looking to hire a Technical Trainer out of our Deer Park, TX area that will be responsible for training mechanics on a variety of assets, equipment, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Clean Harbors Core Maintenance Training
    • PMs
    • Inspections
    • Campaigns
    • Recalls
    • Brakes, Lights, and wheel ends
  • OEM Specific Training
    • Lvl 1 Warranty (Ford, GM, Chevy, Dodge, Volvo, International, Mack, Freightliner, Pete, Cummings, Paccar, Detroit, ECT)
    • Troubleshooting/Diagnostics J-Pro Training/Davie/ESA/PVP -
    • ATS/DPF - Updated emissions
    • Website navigation (Daimler, Cummins, Truck lite, Stemco, MSA, Paccar, Fleet Impact, Meritor Bullpen)
    • Wheel End Training
    • Parker Hydraulic Hose Training
  • Tech Time Training Curriculum
    • Put together the training criteria based on maintenance results including chronic failures
    • Conduct frequency training via Webinar
    • Conduct in person training by hub
    • Create videos and content to supplement needed training
  • Complex Owned Equipment Training
    • Vac Truck STJB including Liquid Rings
    • UMO and Lube Trucks
    • Air Movers and Jet Rodders
    • Auxiliary Power Units - Tractors and Trailers
    • Hydro excavators
    • High Pressure Pumps
    • Rolloff STJBs
  • Component Rebuild
    • Valves
    • Pumps (Fruitland, Wittig-RFL
      100, MORO PM200)
    • Mud Pumps
    • Blowers
    • Carbon Systems
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid Driver License
  • Comfortable with frequent travel 50% of the time
  • 5-7 years of Fleet maintenance experience
  • Strong leadership and personnel development competencies
  • Ability to work across business lines in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of fleet maintenance systems, processes and reporting
  • Ability to create, track and report on actionable deliverables through data and information
  • Strategic planning, coupled with tactical execution
  • Ability to use computer and applicable company software.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications - MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Access
  • Able to apply standards and processes that maintain regulatory compliance
  • Fleet maintenance experience with a decentralized customer base
  • Demonstrated project and change leadership ability
  • Ability to facilitate/train others, and ability to navigate and handle difficult conversations.
  • Financial understanding, with the ability to set and drive performance and strategy against financial and productivity goals
