15+ YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE INDUSTRY.
The Plant Manager will lead the manufacturing and warehouse teams, maintain high‑quality standards, and ensure operational excellence. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, manage resources effectively, and foster a culture of safety and food compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
- Direct daily plant and warehouse teams to achieve operational goals.
- Hire, train, develop, and evaluate key team members.
- Maintain a cohesive team environment with open communication and collaboration.
Operations Management
- Manage daily plant and warehouse operations, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, engineering, safety, and supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with SQF, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safety records.
Quality & Food Safety
- Drive a strong food safety culture through training, audits, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in HACCP team activities and audits to ensure compliance.
- Act as backup for SQF Practitioner and Inventory Manager for mock recalls.
Customer & Regulatory Compliance
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent communication and service.
- Stay updated on regulatory and customer requirements; ensure readiness for inspections and audits.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Track and analyze KPIs; provide feedback to drive accountability and performance.
- Collaborate with maintenance to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste and optimize resource utilization.
- Lead major projects for new packaging lines or process improvements.
Additional Duties

e any tasks assigned by senior management. - Provide coverage for responsibilities during absences as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in food manufacturing
, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of SQF, GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and drive continuous improvement.
