We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler for a contract role in Deer Park, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, experience working with valves, actuators, and tubing, and the ability to bend tubing to precise specifications. Responsibilities include assembling components per drawings, performing functional testing, and calibrating tools and equipment. Must be proficient with hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and general assembly equipment.

• Assemble components accurately and efficiently using assembly drawings and bill of materials.
• Conduct functional and pressure testing on finished assemblies to ensure compliance with customer and division standards.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain testing and assembly equipment according to engineering specifications and safety protocols.
• Perform tube bending using specialized equipment and techniques, ensuring tubing meets precise measurements and tolerances.
• Work with valves, actuators, and related components, ensuring proper installation and alignment during the assembly process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or assembly issues to maintain production flow and minimize delays.
• Support team members by sharing knowledge, assisting with training, and leading tasks when needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably involving valves, actuators, and tube bending.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail with a proven ability to follow engineering standards and drawings.
• Proficient in the use of forklifts, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment used in assembly and testing processes.
• Skilled in tube bending techniques and capable of bending tubing to meet tight tolerances.
• Ability to work Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with overtime starting at 5:00 AM or on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as needed.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or support team-based work efforts and contribute to operational goals.
