How You'll Make An ImpactYou’ll be at the forefront of our innovation by supporting all Quality Control processes related to Statistical Quality Control (SQC), instrument verification, validation, and Out of Specification (OOS) from a QC perspective. You will provide analytical guidance, aid, and support to the Quality Control Lab to achieve data and instrument reliability.
- Technical evaluation of QC Lab processes with respect to method and instrument validation and reliability.
- Review and analyze SQC data with a focus on instrument and technician performance and implement mitigating actions when appropriate.
- Primary person responsible for instrument manuals, calibration protocols, and preventative maintenance plans.
- Provide recommendations to technicians to decrease analytical variation and enhance reliability.
- Participate in multifunctional project teams.
- Qualify new analytical techniques.
- Lead analytical test method implementation, verification, and validation.
- Champion new methods for improving QC Lab performance.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in chemistry or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience commensurate with technology within the plant’s lab.
- Experience in instrumentation troubleshooting.
- Problem‑solving abilities and passion for continuous improvement.
- Proactive mindset with proven track record of completing tasks/projects independently with minimal guidance.
- Communication skills, adaptability, teamwork, creativity, and strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with ISO
9001:2015.
In this role, work on‑site in a manufacturing and laboratory environment, utilizing appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams across Operations, Engineering, R&D, and Corporate functions.
- Lead quality initiatives in a fast‑paced production setting with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and plant‑wide initiatives.
- Operate within strict safety, regulatory, and quality compliance standards.
