Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is actively seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join the Caleb Brett team at our Deer Park, TX facility. This role offers a versatile career in the Inspection and Testing business within a global, award‑winning organization.
What We're Looking ForWe are seeking a highly motivated and results‑driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for existing and potential clients, playing a critical role in generating new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with a passion for sales, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build relationships quickly.
Responsibilities- Marketing and selling of inspection and laboratory testing services.
- Represent the company daily to the client and at business occasions, including trade show participation.
- Support sales management plans by maintaining effective customer relations and ensuring continued market penetration and profitability through in‑depth calls to end users.
- Identify and evaluate possible new markets and new customers for existing products.
- Identify and evaluate potential new products that fit our capabilities, considering pricing and availability.
- Evaluate and report customer feedback; resolve customer service‑related issues.
- Generate contracts, quotes, and orders for customers as required, using internal business processes.
- Provide input for quarterly and yearly sales forecasts.
- Generate monthly sales activity logs through the client tracking system.
- Review product pricing and discuss client feedback relative to the industry.
- Participate in the development of quality marketing materials.
- Implement customer‑specific action plans.
- Travel to visit customers and/or industry events.
- Introduce new products and services to accounts within the Caleb Brett division and other divisions.
- Develop new customers and perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager.
Shift: 8 am to 5 pm CDT, Monday through Friday, with occasional nights and weekends. The successful hire is expected to work onsite at least one day per week. Travel:
This position requires traveling at least 90% of the time.

Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a reliable driving record.
- 2+ years of experience in Petroleum Logistics or Sales.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Applications (PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.).
- Self‑starter with excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, time management, and selling skills.
