** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification steps, and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, log arrivals and departures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership according to established protocols.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities and communicating details to the appropriate contacts.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, gates, checkpoints, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns, access control issues, and/or operational irregularities.

+ Maintain accurate records of visitor management activity, deliveries, key or credential issuance, and daily post events while following Allied Universal standards and site instructions.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A TSA issued TWIC is required.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
