Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to post instructions.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter zones, helping to deter unauthorized activity and noting potential hazards or maintenance issues.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed, and help to support controlled access for authorized personnel.

+ Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders during routine operations or critical situations, following established protocols and preparing clear, timely reports.

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ A TSA issued TWIC is required.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
