Candidates must be proficient in bending and running tubing, able to fabricate small runs of screw piping, and able to replace steam traps. Non-exempt role; reports to the foreman; performs a variety of routine duties with established policies.no per diem or relocation available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in/near the area.
40 hrs, overtime and call outs as neededseeking skilled journeymaninstrumentation degree or nccer certification preferred must be able to pass drug screen and background checkgeneral job description:plans layout, fabricates, assembles, installs and repairs instruments, both electronic and pneumatic,including primary piping and tubing.functional requirements:selects type and size of pipe and related material according to job specification; installs new,modifies or repairs existing installations; measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installsprimary piping and tubing;

installs tubing, multitude bundles, junction boxes, instruments, both electronic and pneumatic, air piping and tubing; connects all piping and tubing to equipment; leaktests all piping and tubing installed; observes all installed instrument and systems to determinehazards, need for adjustment, relocation or replacement; may repair faulty equipment or systems;minimizes waste of material and avoids unsightly, hazardous or unreliable installations.qualification standards:four (4) years of experience in specified skill (depending on mechanic level) written pre-employment qualification testpost-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation hazard communication orientation/test turner industries group, llc indoctrinationosha approved corrective eyewear (z87) job site orientation job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots,etc.)safety
