Your RoleAs a Workshop Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the shop. It will be your mission to support Atlas Copco Rental North America's growth strategy as a leader in the Oil Free air rental business in North America. By joining our team, you will contribute to our commitment to excellence and help us deliver outstanding results to our customers.
You will report to the Workshop Supervisor.
You will:
- Maintain the fleet in the shop
- Change oil/oil filters/air filters on equipment coming back in from rent
- Wash equipment returning from rent
- Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment
- Repair down equipment in the shop
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory
- Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
- Improve measurable success to business targets
- Document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software

- 2 - 3 years experience as an industrial related service field mechanic
- An appropriate electromechanical degree or training
- Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of different industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling
- Good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus
