Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description

We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to support daily accounting operations for a growing organization in Florida. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of the full bookkeeping cycle, maintain accurate financial records, and work confidently across payables, receivables, and account reconciliations.

The right candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Quick Books and ERP systems such as Sage Intacct while helping ensure timely and reliable financial reporting. This is a part-time position for 20 hours onsite per week.

Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping activities, including recording transactions and maintaining complete and accurate financial data.

- Oversee accounts payable processes by reviewing invoices, preparing payments, and keeping vendor records current.

- Administer accounts receivable functions, including invoice tracking, payment posting, and follow-up on outstanding balances.

- Perform bank and account reconciliations on a regular basis to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.

- Maintain the general ledger and support month-end close activities with organized documentation and detailed review.

- Utilize Quick Books and Sage Intacct to process financial information, generate reports, and improve accounting workflow efficiency.

- Prepare financial records and supporting schedules for internal review, audits, or leadership reporting needs.

Requirements - Proven experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper role with responsibility for the complete bookkeeping cycle.

- Strong working knowledge of Quick Books in a detail-focused accounting environment.

- Hands-on experience managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

- Demonstrated ability to complete bank reconciliations accurately and consistently.

- Familiarity with Sage Intacct, Intacct, or comparable ERP accounting systems.

- Solid understanding of general ledger maintenance and core bookkeeping principles.

- High level of accuracy, organization, and ability to manage multiple accounting priorities independently.
