Perma Safe manufactures and sells unique, professional-use, Automotive HVAC System Hygiene and Cabin Air Quality Solutions to new and used car dealerships, and other motor vehicle service businesses, through a network of independent distributors. Products include a proprietary, ultrasonically applied chemistry that cleans, disinfectants, and eliminates odors, allergens and more in HVAC systems, in minutes, as well as cabin air filter enhancement treatments, and related warranties.
THE ROLEWe seek a VP of Sales, a senior level, yet hands‑on, self‑starting, sales professional to grow our fledging distributor network. From Day 1, the VP of Sales will personally secure new automobile dealership and other vehicle service business accounts, while simultaneously recruiting independent distributors. Early dealership conquests is Job 1, as such wins will validate VP’s competencies and provide valuable insight regarding sales obstacles and techniques, while creating proof points to accelerate distributor recruitment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Initial responsibilities include personally selling our products and program directly to car dealerships and other auto service center businesses.
- Design and execute a national independent Perma Safe Automotive Product Distributor recruitment strategy.
- Qualify, onboard, and train new independent Perma Safe Automotive Product Distributors.
- Establish plan to assist Distributors in securing and instituting Service “Op Codes” in dealerships.
- Formulate and institute a Perma Safe Automotive Product Distributor perpetual support program.
- Refine and add dealer and customer marketing materials, sales scripts, sales tools and service menus as needed.
- Hire additional staff members as necessary and warranted by business growth.
- Assist ownership in recognizing and addressing business needs to ensure mutual growth and success.
- A growing network of active, producing distributors.
- Expanding geographic coverage and distributor/dealer density.
- 10+ years selling professional-use additives, chemical services, or similar to auto dealers.
- Proven ability to successfully recruit, train, and support salespeople and build sales teams.
- Direct experience with independent distributor-based automotive service product business(es).
- Strong understanding of automobile dealership service and parts departments economics.
- Background in professional automotive maintenance / service chemical sales.
- Experience in growing independent automotive product distributorships.
- Experience recruiting and managing independent automotive product distributors.
- Existing relationships with auto dealerships and automotive product distributors.
- Base salary starting at$100,000
, plus performance-based commissions tied to direct dealer and distributor recruitments, and corresponding sales, as well as total channel sales. - Extensive employee benefits.

total year-one compensation can exceed $200,000+, with no artificial cap as business scales.
