The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of raw materials used in fragrance production. This role requires strong industry knowledge, supply chain expertise, and the ability to exercise independent judgment in vendor negotiations, forecasting, and procurement strategy. This position plays a key role in ensuring cost efficiency, supply continuity, regulatory compliance, and cross‑functional alignment across departments.
Key Responsibilities- Forecast raw material purchasing requirements and develop sourcing strategies
- Solicit and evaluate supplier pricing proposals and prepare purchasing recommendations
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
- Monitor global market trends, tariffs, duties, and regulatory changes
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with Finance, Quality, Operations, and Sustainability teams
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Utilize SAP and ERP systems for procurement tracking and reporting
- Support process improvement initiatives within procurement
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Salary Range: $85,000 $ 105,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws.
