Sales/Estimator

South Florida

Full-Time

Commission-Based - Potential to earn $85,000+ (Salary plus commission)

• Evaluate project requirements and specifications to determine the scope of work.
  Conduct on-site inspections to assess the condition of surfaces, measure dimensions, and identify any additional preparation or repairs needed.
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to understand project goals, provide recommendations, and offer value engineering solutions when appropriate.
  Prepare comprehensive project proposals and bid documents.
• Maintain a database of material prices, labor rates, and subcontractor costs to ensure accurate estimating.
• Stay updated on industry trends, painting techniques, and regulatory requirements.
  Join professional organizations relating to the client base.

• Previous experience as a painting contractor estimator or in a similar industry role.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license.

• Certification or training in estimating or project management.
• Sales experience in this industry in South Florida in lieu of the above.
• Experience working with commercial painting projects.
• Knowledge of cost control and budget management principles.
