Senior Estimator

Overview

Senior Estimator position with a respected commercial general contractor in Broward County. Direct hire opportunity supporting ground-up commercial construction projects throughout South Florida. 100% on-site role, potentially based in Sunrise or Deerfield Beach. Long-term stability, a strong professional culture, and a key role in winning and launching high-profile commercial and industrial projects.

The Senior Estimator will lead preconstruction estimating from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission, partnering with project managers, superintendents, executive leadership, owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. This role suits a detail-oriented estimating professional with a stable background in commercial general contracting and deep knowledge across all CSI divisions. The environment emphasizes collaboration and strategic value of estimating within the project lifecycle.

• Lead the estimating process for ground-up commercial construction projects from conceptual budgets through final bid submission.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and comprehensive cost estimates across all CSI construction divisions.
• S lightly solicit, evaluate, level, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Develop conceptual, schematic, design development, negotiated, hard bid, and GMP estimates.
• Review architectural, structural, civil, MEP, geotechnical, specification, and contract documents to identify scope gaps, risks, and cost impacts.
• Partner with operations and executive leadership on bid strategy, value engineering, procurement planning, and project handoff.

• Salary range: $125,000 to $150,000 per year.
