Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates and competitive bids for complex civil construction projects.
- Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
- Perform quantity takeoffs for clearing, earthwork, grading, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, potable water, irrigation, and paving.
- Utilize Trimble Business Center (TBC), AGTEK, HCSS Heavy Bid, or related estimating software.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, pricing, scheduling, client correspondence, and negotiations.
- Develop accurate cost projections from initial bid through final project budget.
- Independently prioritize and manage estimating activities to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with project teams and other stakeholders throughout the estimating and bidding process.

- 5-10 years of experience in civil construction estimating.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Strong knowledge of heavy civil/sitework construction.
- Experience with earthwork, underground utilities, paving, grading, and land development.
- Proficiency with TBC or AGTEK for construction takeoffs.
- Experience with HCSS Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, quantities, and pricing.
- Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
