Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Surveyor, located in Deerfield Beach, FL. The Licensed Surveyor will be responsible for conducting boundary and topographic surveys, creating and reviewing survey reports, and providing support for engineering projects. Additional responsibilities include supervising survey crews, ensuring compliance with project specifications, interpreting construction plans, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality in all surveying tasks.

Collaboration with engineers, contractors, and project managers will be a key part of this role.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in boundary and topographic surveying, including the ability to analyze survey data and create accurate reports.
  • Competency in working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and various surveying tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and geo-structural monitoring.
  • Experience in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) and Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to precision and detail in solving surveying-related challenges.
  • Current licensure as a Professional Surveyor in the state of Florida is required.
  • Proven experience managing survey crews and delivering results within project deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with dynamic load testing (DLT) and knowledge of Information Technology (IT) as it relates to surveying processes.
