Position Compensation and Benefits
Level II:
Estimated annual base pay: $77,000 (Minimum) - $100,000 (Midpoint) - $123,000 (Maximum).
Senior:
Estimated annual base pay: $93,000 (Minimum) - $121,000 (Midpoint) - $149,000 (Maximum).
All members receive an annual cash bonus opportunity.

– Key Responsibilities
• Work assigned tasks to meet schedule and coordinate details with other departments.
• Recognize problems beyond capabilities and learn from experts.
• Implement process improvements on a project level.
• Perform work using conventional engineering practices.
• Write and perform component tests with some supervision.
Key Skills (Level II)- Effective written and verbal communication skills including internal presentations.
- Basic technical writing skills (procedures, reports).
- Competent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a project team and communicate with customers.
- May direct or lead work of technicians, detailers, and designers.
- Basic understanding of industry and Woodward technical standards, quality systems, and PLC processes.
- Basic use of FEA tools, DFSS tools and methodologies, engineering quality systems.
- Assists with development of departmental and organizational procedures.
- Basic understanding of component function and testing; learning manufacturing processes, drawings, GDT, shop standards.
- Effective time‑management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience, or Master’s degree, or international bachelor’s equivalent with 1 year of experience.
– Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of a project.
- Participate in and promote process improvements within assigned areas.
- Perform work involving conventional engineering practices with complex features (conflicting design requirements, non‑standard materials, difficult coordination).
- Provide direct support to sales and development through proposals and design reviews.
- Independently write and perform component tests.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills including presentations for internal staff, customers, and management.
- Write and communicate technical reports.
- Competent in complex problem‑solving and troubleshooting.
- Effective functioning within a project team and communication with customers.
- May direct or lead work of technicians, detailers, and designers.
- Working knowledge of standards and application to designs.
- Proficient use and understanding of FEA tools, DFSS tools, and engineering quality systems.
- Ability to compute steady‑state results.
- Assist in development of departmental and organizational procedures.
- Comprehensive understanding of component function and testing requirements.
- Understand manufacturing processes, drawings, GDT, shop standards and their impact on designs.
- May guide Level 1 and Level 2 Engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) and 4+ years equivalent experience.
- International equivalence: bachelor’s degree and 4+ years equivalent experience.
