Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst
We are hiring a results-driven and dedicated Financial Analyst to oversee financial operations for our U.S. business unit. This role requires deep expertise in US GAAP, strong knowledge of IFRS, and proficiency in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, a flair for numbers, be highly organized, and have excellent leadership skills. The noteworthy Financial Analyst should provide financial analysis and reports, identify and correct business finance issues, promote regulatory compliance, and drive income generation.
Key Responsibilities:- Work on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
- Prepare journal entries and monitor income statement and balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Review and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance and explaining variances.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning and decision making.
- Provide cash flow analysis and reporting metrics to multiple stakeholders.
- Strengthen and maintain internal controls, including SOX related processes where applicable.
- Conduct variance analysis, profitability assessments, cost reviews, and KPI tracking for the U.S. market.
- Engage in audits, ensuring timely delivery of documentation and adherence to standards.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams across the U.S., Latin America, and global headquarters.
- Communicate financial insights clearly and effectively in both English and Spanish.
- Must be Bilingual English – Spanish.
- 3-5 years’ experience in corporate accounting, FP&A, or related field.
- Previous experience in the Security/ Labor/ Staffing Industry is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities within rigid deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
- Software savvy and able to learn quickly;
Winteam knowledge is preferred but not required. - Must be detail oriented, professional, and reliable to work independently.
- Must be flexible to work scheduled and/or non-scheduled hours as required to meet deadlines.
