Summary

Infection Preventionist directs interventions that protect patients from healthcare‑associated infections (HAIs) in clinical and other settings. Senior Nurse Infection Preventionist works with clinicians and administrators to improve patient and systems‑level outcomes and reduce HAIs and related adverse events. Supervises and coordinates the functions of staff within the department.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing obtained through a formal 4‑year program

• Five years of related experience

• Registered Nurse
• CIC certified preferred, or will obtain within 1 year of employment
