Patient Service Representative

Pride Health is hiring Entry Phlebotomist - (Patient Service Representative) to support our client’s medical facility in Deerfield Beach, FL. This is a 3+ month contract with the possibility of a contract hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

* Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

• Acts as the first point of contact for patients
• Greets patients warmly and answers questions with care and respect
• Helps patients feel comfortable and explains what to expect during their visit
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized waiting/lobby area
• Assists with patient check-in using self-service kiosks or tablets
• Provides excellent customer service while protecting patient privacy
• Helps cover breaks when phlebotomists are unavailable
• Will be trained in phlebotomy to grow within the company
• Works under the direction of the area supervisor
• Completes daily tasks accurately and on time
• Maintains required records and documentation
• Shows a positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn

• Strong customer service skills are essential
• Ability to treat patients with care and compassion
• Willingness to learn phlebotomy skills and assist when needed
• After training, perform clinical and forensic specimen collection
• Ability to use a computer for data entry and documentation

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2-4 years of customer-facing experience required (retail, healthcare aide, etc.)
• No prior phlebotomy experience required
• Keyboard and data entry experience required
