Summary:

The GME Healthcare Simulation Educator, in collaboration with the GME Office including DIO, Program Directors, Faculty and Staff, is responsible for providing the daily departmental and operational direction for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of medical simulation activities. The GME Healthcare Simulation Educator provides oversight of the preparation, problem solving, inventory, and operation of all simulation equipment and supplies. The educator will also provide oversight and teaching of simulation scenarios and will be responsible for ensuring adherence to training policies, course objectives, and utilizing best practices and safety measures.

This position includes travel to support two GME sites at Broward Health Medical Center and Broward Health North.

Education:

Bachelor's degree required. May substitute CHSOS/CHSE certification OR four years of healthcare simulation operations experience in lieu of degree requirement.

Essential:

Experience:

Minimum of two years' experience in a healthcare simulation operations role (required). May substitute a combination of patient care and healthcare education experience to meet this requirement.

Credentials:
Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS or CHSE) preferred

Education equivalent experience:

Essential:
