We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer/ETL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and ETL processes to support our data infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering principles, ETL development, and the ability to work closely with both technical and business teams to ensure data quality and integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into data warehouses and data lakes.
• Build and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and processing.
• Develop source-to-target mappings for data lineage and document source architecture, including data flows.
• Perform data profiling and ensure data quality requirements are accurate and complete.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide subject matter expertise on data usage and educate teams on data models, metadata, and standards.
• Act as a change agent in support of operational improvements and recommend standards, guidelines, and procedures to improve operational efficiencies.
• Partner with management and business units on innovative ways to utilize data and related tools to advance business objectives.
• Work with the governance council to establish data governance standards and guidelines.
• Actively involve in defining the QA strategy, test plans, and use cases to validate data.
• Provide day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and incident management and resolution.
• Communicate planned and unplanned activities to appropriate parties as needed.
• Support SET BUIT pre-project data assessments and conversion of Tableau/Cognos to Microsoft Power
  
  BI.
• Assist with business data lake testing/experimentation and coordinating data dictionary completions.
• Mentor junior associates and project DA resources.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 7 years of related professional experience. Degree in a technology-related area preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on ETL development.
• Strong experience building data pipelines to bring together information from different source systems.
• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica Power Center and IICS development.
• Strong experience with SQL and data modeling concepts and techniques.
• Experience with No
  
  SQL databases, particularly Cosmos
  
  DB.
• Proficiency in JSON and data integration techniques.
• Well-versed in data management concepts, data lifecycle, and methodologies.
• Willingness to become certified in Data Management.
• Strong thought leadership skills and the ability to drive innovation and performance improvement.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity.
• Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
