Job OverviewThe success of the Technical Analyst will be measured by their ability to perform the following client‑related tasks efficiently while acting in a professional manner that elicits high client satisfaction.
• Troubleshooting high‑severity Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents.
• Troubleshooting all incidents that are escalated from the Client's Service Desk.
• Fulfilling service requests that can be implemented via a normal change.
• Maintaining accurate and timely ticketing system data.
• Analyzing monitoring metrics and alerts to identify patterns, trends, make correlations, and provide actionable information.
The Technical Analyst is responsible for performing the following tasks to support Managed Services clients.
- Using a structured approach to troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Leveraging excellent problem‑solving skills to assist teammates with resolving complex technical issues.
- Maintaining a calm, poised, and professional demeanor while working in potentially stressful situations with client IT staff and end users.
- Defusing sensitive situations, while acting firmly when necessary.
- Possessing time management skills and the ability to multitask across multiple clients.
- Demonstrating the desire and ability to continue learning new concepts and remaining up to date on the most recent technologies.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining the monitoring solution for client environments.
- Providing regular and efficient updates on tasks and activities to management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical understanding of IT concepts and how to support and manage them in a variety of settings.
- Familiarity with ITIL‑based processes and procedures.
- Technical knowledge in the following areas:
- Citrix Net Scaler (Citrix ADC) administration and troubleshooting
- Load balancing
- SSL/TLS certificates
- GSLB
- Content switching
- Authentication (LDAP/SAML)
- Citrix Gateway
- Basic Networking concepts, including TCP/IP, Routing, Networking.
