Position Overview

CGI is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our team in South Florida. As a full‑time consultant, you will support the delivery of technology and business projects from planning through execution and closure, working closely with IT and business stakeholders. This role offers an opportunity to work with diverse technology teams, learn new business domains, and grow your project management career in a fast‑paced consulting environment.

The position is located at the client site in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area and is a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of assigned projects.
  • Work with project sponsors, business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success measures.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, risk and issue logs, and project documentation.
  • Track project progress against scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate internal resources, subject‑matter experts, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to support project delivery.
  • Identify, document, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies as appropriate.
  • Support project financial management activities, including budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Facilitate project meetings, document decisions and action items, and follow up with team members to ensure progress.
  • Support Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery approaches, including maintaining project dashboards, metrics, and reports.
  • Partner with project teams to improve project management processes, tools, templates, and reporting standards.
  • Assist with vendor coordination and vendor package implementation activities.
  • Support technology roadmap projects and contribute to project planning discussions.
  • Ensure project goals, timelines, costs, and benefits are tracked and reported.
  • Provide guidance and support to project team members while developing leadership and delivery management skills.
  • Assist with Requests for Information/Proposals, vendor documentation, and related procurement activities as needed.
Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of project management experience, preferably supporting IT, technology, or business transformation projects.
  • Experience supporting or managing projects using Agile, Waterfall, and/or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of Scrum practices;
    Scrum Master experience is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors and supporting vendor package implementations.
  • Ability to manage project plans, timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
  • Experience tracking project budgets, forecasts, costs, or financial metrics.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and/or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
  • PMP, CAPM, Certified Scrum Master, PMI‑ACP, or other Agile/project management certifications are a plus.

Compensation Range

Because of the many factors that can affect compensation, this role may have a range of $89,600.00 – $ in the United States. Compensation decisions are based on each individual’s skills, experience, training, licensing, and certifications.
