Data Analyst position at Insight Global. Deerfield Beach, FL.

Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for developing an understanding of the relationship of the data that supports business processes and applications. The analyst will gain insights into the data and the movement of the data from data entry to final destinations in back-end files and reporting systems. Candidates must possess technical capabilities to extract, retrieve and analyze data on their own.

They must be able to dive in and research new and complex data sources to understand how data is moving in the system and how it is stored, identifying any anomalies that may exist. The analyst should possess strong interpersonal communication skills to bridge the gap between business and technical users, relaying both business and technical concepts as they relate to data.

They will be required to document findings and ensure mappings and lineage are well documented and stored in knowledge storage repositories. This assignment is projects that will interact with business and IT to understand business processes and the related data. Remote with the ability to come into office as required for the first week on training. This is a contract role paying between $55-$70/hr, based on experience.

• Senior level Data Analyst with 8+ years' experience.
• Experienced in data research & strong technical requirements gathering.
• Strong SQL knowledge and data retrieval skills.
• Experience with multiple tools that allow for coding SQL (SSMS or DB visualizer, etc.).
• Source to Target Mapping (STTM) experience / ETL Mapping.
