Data Analyst
Responsibilities
- Prepare and model data as required for visualizations and reports
- Build visualization and reporting solutions in an Agile environment
- Create and maintain documentation, including solution documentation, design, and technical specifications as required
- Support daily operations, job scheduling, maintenance, support requests, change management, and solutions inventory
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to data connectivity, data modeling, and visualization rendering
- Follow established governance and information security practices and standards
- Learn Business Unit systems and processes
- Provide training to end-users as needed
- Contribute to the Microsoft Power BI and Power Platform COEs to efficiently evolve data practices and strengthen tool adoption at Business Unit and the company
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field based on professional experience
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge with SQL
- Good understanding of data modeling concepts, building visualizations, and reporting solutions
- Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and Excel
- Experience with Tableau and Cognos is a plus
- Good understanding of Citizen IT, low code/no code, data management practices, visualization, and reporting tools
- Familiarity with agile development methodology, Azure Dev Ops
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be highly analytical
- Organization and time management skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
