Position: Business Analyst (Financial)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Deerfield Beach, FL that is seeking a Business Analyst (Financial).

Responsibililties:

* Lead a core project initiative end to end, including requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, and delivery oversight

* Support 1 to 2 concurrent technology reviews and enhancement efforts, providing analysis, documentation, and recommendations

* Partner with business and IT stakeholders to support procurement transformation and facilities-related initiatives

* Translate complex business needs, particularly within financial domains, into clear functional and technical requirements

* Contribute to Agile transformation efforts, while operating effectively in a primarily Waterfall-based environment

* Facilitate requirements sessions, stakeholder meetings, and solution walkthroughs

* Develop and maintain detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, and system specifications

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams responsible for enhancements, production support, and system/documentation management

REQUIREMENTS:

* 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with senior-level ownership of projects

* Strong financial services or finance-related domain knowledge

* Proven experience working in Waterfall environments, with adaptability to Agile methodologies

* Experience leading projects or serving in a lead BA capacity, or clear readiness to step into a leadership role

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Technical Skills

* Experience with Power BI for reporting and data visualization

* Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation

* Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem tools (Azure, Office 365, Dev Ops preferred)
Additional Details

* Role sits within IT but supports enterprise transformation initiatives, particularly across procurement and facilities

* Team structure includes responsibilities across enhancements, technology reviews, production support, and documentation

* Ideal candidate is solution-oriented, able to identify issues, recommend improvements, and collaborate with leadership for validation and execution

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
