Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor, the position is responsible for providing technical leadership in equipment, process, and operational efficiency for assembly, quality control, and packaging technologies. The incumbent optimizes production equipment by providing subject‑matter expertise for process technology while ensuring cGMP compliant manufacturing.
Main Responsibilities- Support routine equipment preventive maintenance.
- Support equipment start‑up, characterisation, and qualification.
- Support equipment installations or transfers.
- Assist in designing production layouts that minimise production impacts.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to identify ways to reduce losses, decrease time requirements, or improve quality.
- Assist in performing equipment changeovers in some cases.
- Support the SAP transactions.
- Assist with spare parts inventory.
- Ensure adherence to safety rules and practices.
- Maintain flexibility to work a variety of schedules to meet business needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting, preferably medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Practical experience and solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Independent thinker and problem solver.
- Experience with SAP EAM or a relevant enterprise calibration and spare parts inventory management system.
- Minimum two years’ experience in an FDA‑regulated or similar environment.
