Palletizing Room Worker, AM, Fresh Kitchen - Deerfield

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections of finished product.
• Document label verification and product changeovers.
• Accurately complete all paperwork required by the position.
• Flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
• Stack product on pallets.
• Maintain clean equipment and work area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Assist in filling order quantities.
• Ensure accurate labeling of product.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate excellent work habits in line with GMPs.
• Demonstrate safe working habits.
• Lift in excess of 25 lbs. repetitively, 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Push and pull full tubs of product (500 lbs.).
• Learn and perform all positions.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Possess good human relations skills and be a team player.
• Work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
• Have excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Assist other team members in other areas.
• Perform steady and productive work for an extended period.
• Possess general knowledge of machine operation and recognize problems when they occur.
• Work efficiently with little or no supervision.
• Understand Lockout/Tagout compliance requirements.
• Be dependable and possess good follow‑up skills.

In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay. In the second year, it equals one week’s pay if the associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
