Job Summary

Are you a formulation expert ready to drive innovative product development in sunny Deerfield, Florida? A premier health and wellness manufacturing leader is seeking a Senior Formulation Scientist to serve as the key technical link between R&D and production, bringing high-quality gummy and soft chew products from benchtop to commercial scale.

Education:

Bachelors

• Develop and optimize novel gummy and soft chew nutritional formulations from benchtop to pilot trials.
• Lead scale-up and technology transfer processes from R&D to full commercial manufacturing.
• Establish and optimize equipment parameters for cooking, mixing, depositing, cooling, and packaging.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement continuous improvements to boost quality, yields, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure all development processes comply with FDA, cGMP, NSF, and Prop 65 regulatory standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience specifically in gummy and soft chew formulations.
• Proven track record in benchtop-to-pilot commercialization, scale-up, and technology transfer.
• Direct expertise in manufacturing equipment parameter optimization and process troubleshooting.
• Strong working knowledge of FDA, cGMP, NSF, and Prop 65 standards.
