RN2 Opportunity At Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center

The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC) at Deerfield Beach has an exciting opportunity for a RN2.

The Registered Nurse 2 delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service while ensuring population-specific patient care. The Registered Nurse 2 oversees nurses and allied health staff in their daily practice.

Core responsibilities include assessing and evaluating patients, reviewing diagnostic tests, consulting with healthcare professionals, preparing patients for examinations and procedures, administering medications, communicating care plans, assisting in discharge planning, and serving as a preceptor for new staff.

Core qualifications require a Bachelor of Science in nursing, Florida Registered Nurse License, Basic Life Support Certification (BLS/AHA), and at least two years of nursing experience. Knowledge of medical terminology, nursing care methods, health and safety guidelines, and excellent patient experience skills are also necessary.
