Outside Sales Project Manager

  • Develop and secure sales for commercial HVAC products and services
  • Meet with customers at their place of business or jobsite to assess needs and develop solutions
  • Maintain accurate tracking of all quoted projects and proposal status
  • Participate in work-in-progress and manpower meetings
  • Attend quarterly company meetings
• Project Management (After Sale)
  • Obtain proposals from equipment vendors and subcontractors
  • Manage project administration, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and customer communication
  • Coordinate closely with the Project Administrator (PA) on project questions and billing
  • Order equipment and materials with support from the Project Lead Technician
  • Assist with permitting paperwork and customer approvals
  • Lead project turnover meetings to ensure a clear handoff to operations
• Project Oversight
  • Visit jobsites to support successful execution
  • Create labor task sheets and work with field foremen to manage labor hours and job tasks
  • Resolve technical RFIs for internal teams and customers
  • Oversee projects to ensure scope, schedule, and customer expectations are met

• Experience in commercial HVAC sales, project management, or a combination of both
• Strong technical understanding of commercial mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project documentation
• Comfortable working independently in a client-facing, outside sales role
