Full Job Description

Coastal Pipeline is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Pipelayer to join our growing team. This hands-on role requires a deep understanding of underground utility installation, including water, sewer, and drainage systems. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working independently, managing tasks proactively, and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety on the job.

This is a critical position for our field team, demanding precision, physical endurance, and a commitment to quality. If you're looking for long-term growth with a team that values expertise and integrity, we want to hear from you.

• Install water, sewer, and drainage pipes with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform precise ditch grading and layout using laser levels and grade rods.
• Set manholes and catch basins with proper cement work and finishing.
• Interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure accurate pipe alignment and depth.
• Utilize grade shooting techniques and verify elevations, slopes, and alignment.
• Ensure all installations meet project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment and perform minor on-site repairs when needed.
• Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to coordinate installation workflow.

• Minimum of 5 years verifiable experience in pipe laying (water, sewer, drainage).
• Strong understanding of grade shooting and ditch grading.
• Proficiency with laser leveling equipment and surveying tools.
• Experience in setting manholes, catch basins, and related cement work.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
• Physically capable of lifting 75+ lbs and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• 1 Week Paid Vacation (after 1 year of employment)
• Paid Holidays
