Position: Structured Cabling (Voice & Data) Lead Technician- Miller Electric Company

In this role, you will lead small to mid-size structured cabling projects, managing teams of up to eight technicians and ensuring high-quality installation of voice, data, and fiber optic systems. Responsibilities include installing, terminating, testing, and labeling CAT6/CAT6A and fiber cabling, as well as supporting access control, CCTV, and audiovisual systems.

You will also interpret blueprints, install network infrastructure (racks, patch panels, MDF/IDF), and maintain a strong commitment to jobsite safety while working at heights. #miller #LI-JJ1

** Essential

Duties & Responsibilities *
* + Lead small to mid-size projects consisting of teams up to 8 technicians

+ Pull,terminate, dress, and label CAT6/CAT6A cable

+ Pull,terminate, dress, and label Fiber Optic cabling

+ Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)

+ Punch down voice and data jacks

+ Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.

+ Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)

+ Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts

+ Install/support access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems

** Qualifications*
* + 5+ years field commercial/industrial low voltage (Voice & Data) experience

+ 5+years field experience with structured cabling

+ BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus

+ 5+ years field experience in telecom/data networks

+ Willingness to travel to job sites and work different shifts as needed
