Accounting Manager

SNI Financial is partnered with a publicly traded manufacturing company that has been recognized as One of America’s Best Employers by Forbes. The company is continuing to experience stable growth and is looking to hire an Accounting Manager to supervise general ledger accounting, fixed asset transactions, and manage a small team of accounting professionals.

• Supervise and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting by ensuring proper accounting treatment including GAAP & SOX compliance
• Manage fixed asset accounting by reviewing and approving schedules
• Review and approve journal entries prepared by staff/senior accounting professionals
• Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet variance explanations including SG&A and fixed assets
• Supports annual audits by performing process walk through with public accounting firm
• Ensure proper documentation methods and procedures are being practiced
• Identify areas for process improvements and improve work efficiency
• Supervise and coach a team of two accounting professionals

• Bachelor’s degree with a focus in accounting
• CPA or master’s in accountancy recommended
• 5+ years of accounting/audit experience, with at least 6 months of experience managing direct reports
• Previous experience working for a publicly traded company within an accounting or audit environment
• Fixed asset accounting experience
• Knowledge of SEC regulations, GAAP, and SOX
• Experience working with SAP
• Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
• Base salary + 16% bonus
