Assist in performing routine clerical, bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative work in the Accounts Payable Department.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Answers, responds to, or appropriately directs telephone calls from staff, public, and outside vendors
- Opens, dates stamps, and scans mail
- Logs into the SharePoint system
- Copies documents, binds books, and completes scanning projects
- Prepares and submits expense reports for department members, as assigned
- Maintains Outlook contact files
- Handles special projects, as assigned
- Anticipates matters at hand and initiates action without requiring direction or supervision
- Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation
- Supports company vision and mission
Job Responsibilities
- Assists with overflow work
- Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work 20-30 hours a week
High school graduation or GED equivalent. Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year university or college.
