Job Overview
Assists the Joint Interest team with routine clerical, accounting, and administrative responsibilities and special projects as assigned. This is a part‑time position working no more than 29 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Maintain intercompany master data for Operated asset AFEs and Cost Centers.
- Calculate monthly Statistical Key Figures for Operated expense allocations.
- Assist in processing inbound Non‑Operated JIB invoices for payment.
- Use Energy Link to assist in coding of JIB invoices, cross‑referencing Properties and AFE numbers.
- Monitor and scan for errors of all incoming Joint Interest Billings received on Energy Link.
- Assist in analyzing and validating the accuracy of monthly JIBs, as per joint operating agreements.
- Assist in monitoring accurate and timely payment of assigned invoices, including cash calls.
- Assist in analyzing monthly Non‑Operated LOE variances compared to the prior month.
- Assist in creating and maintaining Non‑Operated payouts.
- Investigate or escalate any discrepancies and ensure thorough follow‑up and resolution with Partners.
- Adopt a continuous improvement approach to enhance processes and identify improvements/efficiencies.

- Support the company vision and mission.
- Adhere to established work schedule, attendance standards, and be punctual to work and meetings.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications- Ability to accurately solve problems and proficiency in data management.
- Enjoy working with numbers.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Outlook).
- Preference for candidates with previous Hilcorp work experience.
Working toward a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year university or college with a business‑related major.
